The Cultural Kitchen is up and successfully running again for 2010!

On Friday just gone, the Cultural Kitchen comprised of creating some beautiful lanterns- which we look into displaying, table tennis and of course some great food! The food theme was Chinese in pre-celebration of the Chinese New Year on the 14th February celebrating year of the tiger.

The next few Cultural Kitchens will take place on Friday 19th February, then Friday 5th March and Friday 19th March. Look forward to seeing you all there!

It was great to see so many people; Students (past and present), Trustees, Volunteers, Colleagues and Friends from other agencies, Community members, Cultural Kitchen goers, Sewers, Allotment growers........all connected in someway to START, coming together at the same time at one event. Thank you to Gislaine and the volunteers from BTCV for providing excellent food (and enough of it too!) - The START management team.

Secondly... The next Cultural Kitchen is on the 8th January - Please come along - The Playback Theatre are returning and our Iranian friends are cooking.

Lastly - START is now closed for the Christmas period and will reopen on 4th January 2010
