Soft Creations – a women only sewing group

Every Tuesday, 1.00pm-3.00pm
The Kinsman Room, Sherwell United Church Hall – North Hill
(From September through to early July)

Soft Creations is a women’s only sewing group where people can work on both individual and group sewing projects.  It is an open group usually attended by between 6 to 8 women each week. Children are welcome and can come along with their parents. The group is supported by students on placement at Start and volunteers drawn from the community.

The group have recently completed a number of sewing projects including making bags and story sacks for the Plymouth Play Association, a Welcome Quilt , and small items to sell and raise further funds for the project. The group promotes integration and links into other creative projects run within the city.
